You will transition and apply these concepts specifically to the Basic Concepts of Probate Genealogy Due Diligence. You will be able to develop, follow and analyze public records, investigative data sources, and genealogy focused resources to develop leads and information specific to the subject and probate genealogy investigations. You will be able to review, analyze, and verify individual subject information from personal identifiers to determine next-of-kin, heirs, and relatives with their contact information and location, as requested by the client.

•    Research for specific supporting or refuting documentation
•    Contact any of the above

Getting Started
Continuing from the Basics, and continuing, you will learn:
•    Public Records
•    Open Source Research (i.e. Google)
•    Genealogy Resources (i.e. Ancestry)
•    General Research (primarily decedent research)
•    Paternal Research
•    Maternal Research

Recommended Investigative Protocol
Using a standard Investigative Protocol applied to Genealogy Due Diligence, you will apply our five-step Investigative Protocol to:
•    Public Records
•    Open Source Research (i.e. Google)
•    Genealogy Resources (i.e. Ancestry)

Reports
Your report is your final work-product to the client, and you will learn:
•    Write reports for your client’s needs and requests
•    Include the full decedent information
•    Include developed address history
•    Include known and developed Paternal and Maternal information
•    Include known and developed spouse and children information
•    Include known and developed sibling and their children information
